Congrats y'all for making it into the new year! You can now add another year to your inventory (hopefully a good year) and enter into 2008! Make it a great year! Everyone talks a lot of crap on new years resolutions (including me) but it's really not a bad thing. It is waaay too hyped up, but it is as good a time as any to reflect on your life and where it's going. If your reflections happen only once a year... then that's probably not a very good situation.
Here's some of my thoughts as we continue in our new year.
Faith. My faith to be exact. :) The last couple months of last year, now that I look back on them, seem to be where I started getting a little distant with God. How did that happen? It was like a sound wave (not physics! anything but physics!) where I kept going back and forth. Close, far, close, far... etc. A few weeks ago I picked up my Bible, wiped away a layer of dust, and began to read. I continued to read up till now and I'm gonna keep it going. God's word is so important in my walk.
Volleyball... there's a thick layer of dust on that. My last team practice was in November. :o
I've only had two days of classes (and I still have a Bible class tonight) so I'm not really sure about how the semester is going to turn out. My anatomy teacher is from England so he has a great accent, but he's also a bit weird. He paces back and forth in the front, and when he gets really into it he does this little squat thing and moves his hands in circles (doing the motions for some chemical reaction) and looks at his hand while his eyes get really big. Yeah. Very fun to watch. My sociology teacher is very direct on the verge of being rude (kinda like my Grams so I'm used to it) and my human development teacher is nice but expects a lot of effort. Bible teacher... I haven't met her yet but my composition teacher is very nice. All in all it's really not bad. And I have no school on Thursdays so my very busy Mondays and Wednesdays will be worth it. :)
Health-wise I believe I am fine. Before I came home I was having some shortness of breath and sometimes I would kinda lose my balance when I was standing... but I went to the doctors and they said it's probably nothing. I am now on Claritin-D (yeaah I'm Claritin clear :) So I guess you can make fun of me because I am now "medicated".
On the subject of guys... I'm a stereotypical woman (I hate admitting to a stereotype) and I don't know how I feel. Luckily I am still a good driver so at least all the stereotypes aren't true!
And I reorganized my desk shelves/desk! It looks pretty sweet and I couldn't resist taking a picture.
I've started my re-watch of Grey's seasons 1&2 before I break the plastic on season 3!! Wooo! It's ok, intense jealousy is a normal reaction. :)
"So this line... is it imaginary or do I need to get you a marker?"
;) EXCELLENT scene

Those Europeans. Crazy, I tell ya.
*runs away screaming from a raging Justine*
I love your desk! Very cute. Especially pink and green. Pink and green happen to be the colors in my own coordinated dorm room. :)
europeans are not crazy...
i'm jealous your anatomy teacher has an accent; and the fact that you have a green laptop.

What is that horrible dvd on your desk?
