Stronger

Has anyone else heard of the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's? It's a CLASSIC and last night I was finally able to watch it. It was on sale at Target. :) The movie itself was different than I expected. It's probably the type of movie that you need to see more than once to form a definite opinion on. But Audrey Hepburn is lovely in it, of course.
So, last night Shelby, Aleisha, Sarah, Allyse, Justin, Tim, Andrew, and I went to Dick's Last Resort. If anyone has ever been to Ed Debevik's, Dick's is just like it. It's basically a restaurant where all the waiters are mean and really loud. That doesn't sound fun, but it's hysterical. It's even better if you're mean back. :) Afterwards we walked around a large outdoor mall in Gaslamp and saw some very cute shoes (and some high-heeled Crocs, no joke).
That has been my weekend so far... except for the fact that I woke up at 10am today and did some homework and watched 3 episodes of Grey's Anatomy and the movie Catch Me If You Can. Productive, right? What my brother and sister and I did over Easter break was also very productive.

I also wanted to encourage you all to keep working hard! Or for those just ending spring break, to start STRONG! Keep up with everything... especially with your walk with God. Things start looking like this when you don't...

Thank You

What can I say guys? I forgot to trust God completely. I was relying on my own strength to try and solve everything and it wasn't-- and will never be-- enough. God is the Almighty. He is good. That's all.

Thank You

What if in the morning when I wake up
Even before I fill my coffee cup
I said Thank You
Thank You
Thank You

What if I looked at the day and the hours ahead
And before I moved forward I bowed my head
And said Thank You
Oh I said Thank You

What if I looked at my life in a different way
Took a little more time to stop and pray
I know it would change all the moments in between
So here I go

Chorus:
Thank You for everything
Thank You for loving me
It don't even matter what tomorrow brings
I will sing my Thank You
For sun and rain
For what You give and take away
For all Your goodness I will always say
Thank You
I say Thank You

What if I lost everything that I have
I could smile and somehow still be glad
And say Thank You
Thank You
Thank You

Cause life is joy, life is pain
But the prayer of my heart will never change
I say Thank You
Oh I you
I say thank You

What if I looked at my life in a different way
Took a little more time to stop and pray
I know it would change all the moments in between
So here I go

The One I'm Waiting For

So Tina and Justine are here right now. We are reading out of Allyse's Valley yearbook. It's amazing. Tonight we went to dinner at the cafeteria at 5:30... and I believe we stayed until 6:45. It was so much fun. There were multiple sightings of flying carrots, cucumbers, honeydew, and bananas. After our freaking amazing almost food fight we walked back to the dorm and then left for Yogurt Express... which is the place that rivals Golden Spoon. You'll have to get their reviews on it. :) Hendricks (the guys dorm) just closed so we are back in the room after watching some of "No Country For Old Men" and having an intense game of Apples to Apples.

Please watch this video. I have been quoting this all night. The first time it might be kinda annoying but it's the best to quote.

Uh yeah, I just wanted to let you know that the back of your head is ridikulous.

Own that ponytail!

Good Little Girls

Today was Allyse's birthday. We went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack and I tried popcorn shrimp. I told Sarah and Peter that I didn't like shrimp and they made me try it. Sarah even made airplane noises for the "baby". Anyways, I have another freaking test tomorrow in anatomy and I decided to say (in Julia's words) "hell to the no" to studying for hours. So I took notes from the lecture slides and read over my notes. I am so ready!
Has anyone ever seen the movie Disturbia? Or does anyone have a copy I could borrow to watch? :)

"Good Little Girls" by Blue Country. It's a funny song and very fun to sing to.

Who Am I?

I'm back from Maui safe and sound! Our flight was delayed so we actually got home at midnight instead of 10pm. On the way home we stopped by In N Out for some food and Luke was so tired it took him a good minute to figure out how to eat. He just looked at his burger. It was so funny.

Spring break was a lot of fun. It was filled with surfing (on tiny waves), ziplining, sunning, swimming, horseback riding, and weird dreams. I can almost guarantee that almost everyone was in at least one of my dreams.

There's not a lot to say right now. Tiredness has started to sink in, although Kevin's recordings of the guys playing video games is pretty funny. It's always funny to hear Cory yelling at Kevin and Dan. And hear Sunada yelling and Dan killing himself a lot. Awesome.

The one and only picture I have of all of us on the beach.
