Seriously, I don't know what is up with all of this video posting I'm doing but perhaps this will be the last one for awhile. Maybe.
So there was some major hate-age on the last Nazbo Rap (by Kevin of course...) BUT this one is BOMB.COM! And I actually know people in this video, so yay!
So, next week I am actually going to a skilled nursing home, and then after that the actual hospital! It's so scary! We are learning so much crap now and I don't think I can fit it all in my brain. I know the first couple of times going I am going to forget a lot. As long as I don't screw up any meds it'll be fine.
Quote of the Post:
There's a point in your life when you get tired of fixing everything and trying to make everyone happy. When you finally decide to quit, it's NOT giving up. It's realizing you don't need certain people and the bullcrap they bring into your life.
I've mostly applied this to my vball coach, but I'm sure it works in other situations as well. :)

SNL
Okay, I have to admit that sometimes SNL is just stupid but the skit below (feat. Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hilary Clinton) is just funny.
EDIT: I don't like OR dislike Palin simply because I don't know much about her yet. This is solely entertainment.
On Sunday I went to Fashion Valley to return some stuff and I ended up wandering around the (outdoor) mall. My Mom called me when I was in Old Navy and we talked about my uncomfortable, slightly scary church experience. Yes, that is possible. Ask me if you want to know more. But anyways, apparently there is a mom at the twin's school who wants to set me up with a guy she knows. The only problem? He's 28. To which my mom told me, "Yeah but whenever I think about you in love in college I always picture you falling in love with someone a little older, like one of your professors." Wow. Can you say awkward?
Anyways, a lot has been going on lately, but I just want to say that I can feel God moving on campus and definitely in my life. More info to come.
We rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

100th Post!
First let me say that... this is my 100th post! Yay!
In chapel on Wednesday we watched the Nazbo Rap II and I wanted to show it to you guys but I figured you should all see the first one before you see the second one... so here it is!
Each week a girl on the volleyball team has devotionals for that week and we have to choose a word for the week. I had devos this week and my word was courage and this was my quote for today:
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says, "I'll try again tomorrow."

Vital Signs
Schedule
09/08/08
0730-0800 Breakfast
0815-0935 Microbiology
0945-1030 Chapel
1100-1205 Nursing Lecture
1300-1645 VB Practice
1700-1900 Skills Lab
2000-2200 Study Group
Dang, that was a freaking long day. I'm just glad it's over!
Lately Allyse and I (mostly myself) have been re-watching a lot of Grey's Anatomy. Of course it's really good. But it's also interesting to re-watch certain episodes and see how my feelings have changed. Or not changed, because Dr. McDreamy is still pretty freaking McDreamy after all.
I hope you are all having an excellent week!
“Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
This is definitely part of my prayers now.
